Brian Everett

Brian Everett is a world-renowned tattoo artist and respected industry leader, celebrated for his mastery of photo-realism and black-and-gray portrait work. Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Brian is the founder of Route 66 Fine Line Tattoo, where his artistic excellence has attracted global acclaim from collectors and fellow artists alike.

Brian’s leadership spans decades and includes pivotal roles in shaping tattoo industry standards. He served as one of the first Presidents of the Alliance of Professional Tattooists (APT) for five years and later as President of the National Tattoo Association (NTA). In both roles, he was instrumental in elevating tattooing as a professional art form and advancing artist advocacy.

He also represented the body art industry on the Association of Food and Drug Officials (AFDO) for three years, contributing to national-level policy discussions. Currently, Brian serves on the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) body art committee, reinforcing his long-standing commitment to safety, education, and professional development.

Beyond the studio and the boardroom, Brian is a seasoned promoter of tattoo conventions. He has played a key role in organizing some of the industry's most iconic events, including the Motor City Tattoo Convention and Albuquerque Tattoo Fiesta, fostering community, education, and collaboration across the global tattoo landscape.

With over 40 years of experience, Brian Everett remains a vital voice in body art regulation, safety, and culture—uniting artistry and advocacy throughout his career.

With over 37 years of professional piercing experience, Steve Joyner is a globally recognized figure in the body art community and a long-standing member of the Association of Professional Piercers (APP) for 25 years.

He is co-author of the industry manual, The Art of Suspension.

Jodi Jackson is a nationally respected expert in body art safety, uniquely positioned at the intersection of public health and professional tattooing. A Registered Environmental Health Specialist with a Master’s in Public Health, Jodi brings over two decades of experience in environmental health and regulatory oversight to her advisory role at INKTEGRITY.

As a former co-chair of the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) and Association of Food and Drug Officials (AFDO) Body Art Committees, she has played a critical role in shaping regulatory frameworks that balance safety, practicality, and respect for the tattoo and piercing industries. Her contributions to the Body Art Model Code (BAMC) reflect her deep commitment to science-based policy that empowers artists and protects public health without unnecessary burdens.

Jodi is known for her collaborative approach—bridging the gap between regulators and artists—and for advocating for common-sense standards rooted in both real-world studio practices and public safety science. Her work continues to influence policy nationwide and helps ensure that body art remains a respected, safe, and accessible form of personal expression.
